01

Call the doctor

First contact the family doctor or, outside office hours, the medical on-call service. The doctor confirms the death and issues the certificate.

02

Time to say goodbye

It is possible and usual to leave the deceased at home for some hours. Take time for a calm farewell.

03

Inform the funeral director

Once the certificate is available, you can call us. We collect the deceased with dignity – also at a later time on request.

04

If the cause is unclear

If the cause of death is unclear, the doctor calls the police. Until release, the deceased cannot be collected.
